The program (based on book research and real experiences of working with multinational and national private companies for over 20 years) is now more relevant than ever, as modern organizational structures flatten and become more complex with people from many different cultural background get to work together in the same organization.
Over two days, you’ll explore a range of styles and behaviors related understanding cultural differences and here you’ll discover which styles work for you (and which don’t). Both as a giver and as a receiver and you’ll learn how to give constructive contribution in a culturally diverse organization.
Day One (for expatriates also if any)

- Cultural Dimension of Asian Indonesian Culture
- Mini workshop on building understanding on Indonesian Culture while working in Multinational Organization.
- Understanding on local employment regulation as an important aspect to build understanding and constructive working environment.
Day Two (especially for national employees)
- The challenge in working with Multinational Organizations-the paradigm of cultural diversity.
- Cultural Dimension of Western cultures
- Mini workshop on building understanding on Western Cultures in Multinational Companies.
- Adapting new mind set and new behavior towards working with Western Counterparts (Peers and Managers)
Workshop Leader :
Tigor Pangaribuan, MM., MBA
Tigor Pangaribuan MM/MBA, HCS, has an MM and MBA degree in General Management from IPMI-Monash Mt. Eliza Business School-Australia. He is a globally Certified Human Capital Strategist from the Human capital Institute of USA. He has extensive experiences and competencies in the area of Change Management, Human Capital Organizational Behavior and for around 20 years has in charged for senior managerial positions (HR Senior Manager) and Director in various companies in Indonesia and also as an expatriate in Malaysia. During his career he faced and solved many issues in Industrial relations area. His working experience is majority in Multinational Companies Oil and Gas industry (Schlumberger, Hess Oil Gas and Premier Oil Gas Company) where he has been both involved as a member and leader in managing changes in those organizations.
Currently he is a Lecturer in Master Degree Class University of Indonesia (MMUI) for Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management. He is also one of facilitators for the transformational programs in several companies and organization in Indonesia such as Berau Coal Energy, Bank Jabar Banten, and also facilitator for Understanding Indonesian Culture Seminar conducted by BPMIGAS-PT Srikandi for expatriates in Oil and Gas Industry in Indonesia.
